    On page 3, line 10, after "years," strike "and" and insert "((and))"

    On page 3, line 12, after "license" insert ", and (iii) that the ability of the applicant's wireless communication device to send or receive a text message has been blocked."

EFFECT: Requires an applicant for an intermediate license to present certification by his or her parent, guardian, or employer stating that the texting capability of the applicant's wireless communication device has been blocked.
