    On page 5, on line 17, after "(medical insurance).", insert "A member who is entitled to medicare must enroll and maintain enrollment in both medicare part A and medicare part B in order to remain eligible for the reimbursement provided in this subsection."

EFFECT:   Requires members of LEOFF Plan 2 who were totally disabled in the line of duty and who are eligible for Medicare to enroll in Medicare Parts A & B (rather than other coverage) in order to receive the reimbursement for medical insurance costs provided under the terms of the bill.
