    On page 6, line 31 after "vehicles" insert "when the dealer terminates, cancels, or fails to renew a franchise after placing, but prior to receiving, an order for new motorsports vehicles."

    On page 7, after line 32 insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. This act applies to all contracts commenced on or after the effective date of this act".

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: A dealer who cancels an order for new motorsports vehicles may not be charged a fee by the manufacturer if the dealer has terminated, canceled or failed to renew the franchise after placing the order.

           This only applies to orders placed after the effective date of the Act.
