On page 1, line 16 of the amendment, after "(3)" insert "No
employee shall be required to work more than five consecutive hours
without a meal period.
(4)"
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively.
EFFECT: Provides guidance as to how long an employee must work prior to receiving a meal break. Consistent with existing wage and hour law, states that employees shall receive a meal break when required to work more than five consecutive hours.
