     On page 4, line 21, after "(4)" insert the following:

     "All appointments to the board made by the governor shall be

subject to confirmation by the senate.

    (5)"

    Renumber the subsections consecutively, correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Reinserts the requirement that gubernatorial appointees to the Professional Educator Standards Board are subject to Senate confirmation.
