Beginning on page 16, line 31 of the amendment, strike all of section 20 and insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 20 RCW 28A.170.050 (Advisory committee--Members -- Duties) and 1997 c 13 s 3 & 1987 c 518 s 209 are each repealed."

On page 17, beginning on line 16 of the title amendment, after "RCW" strike all material through "28A.210.365, and" on line 17

EFFECT:  The following requirements that had been repealed are now removed from the bill:
     Creates an advisory committee that must develop a model policy on access to nutritious foods and the development of a physical education and fitness curriculum for students.
     Mandates that by 2010, all districts must have school health advisory committees; only healthy food and beverages must be provided by schools during school hours or for school-sponsored activities; all students in grades 1-8 must have at least 150 minutes of quality PE every week; PE must be conducted by appropriately certified instructors.
