    On page 2, after line 27 of the amendment insert the following:

"(8) No state funds may be expended to reimburse committee members for travel or other per diem costs.

(9) This section shall expire December 31, 2009."

    On page 2, line 30 of the title amendment, after "43.320.170;" strike the remainder of the title and insert "adding a new section to chapter 43.320 RCW; and providing an expiration date."

EFFECT:  Committee members may not be reimbursed for travel and may not receive per diem for serving on the committee.  The committee shall expire on December 31.
