"NEW SECTION. Sec. 2 A new section is added to chapter 71A.20
RCW to read as follows:
Prior to closing a residential habilitation center, the department
must receive authorization to do so from the legislature."

On page 1, line 1 of the title, after "centers;" strike the remainder of the title and insert "amending RCW 71A.20.020; and adding a new section to chapter 71A.20 RCW."
EFFECT: Add section clarifying that the Legislature must approve any RHC closures.
