On page 1, line 13, after "rule" insert ". The commissioner shall not require proprietary financial information to be reported in the annual statement. Proprietary information does not include information regarding financial arrangements or payments with patients"
On page 1, line 15, after "commissioner." insert "The commissioner must ensure that neither the required format nor the requested information violates patient privacy rights."
EFFECT: Clarifies that the Commissioner may not ask for proprietary information from direct practices, and that requested information must not violate patient privacy rights.
