Background: Under current law, cities, counties, and port districts may regulate taxi cabs. The Department of Licensing regulates limousines, with the exception of the Port of Seattle which may regulate limousines.

Summary of Bill: Certain counties and cities have authority to regulate certain limousines (executive sedans and vans) as either taxi cabs or limousines.

Appropriation: None.
