AN ACT Relating to eliminating the Columbia River Gorge Compact; creating a new section; and repealing RCW 43.97.015, 43.97.025, 43.97.035, 35.22.700, 35.63.150, 35A.63.200, 36.32.550, 36.70.980, and 90.58.600.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1 It is the intent of the legislature to
repeal the Columbia River Gorge Compact with the Congress of the United

compact. The legislature intends to renegotiate the compact when
financial circumstances improve.
