Chamber, for the purposes of canvassing the vote of Constitutional
elective state officers as required by Article III, section 4 of the
state Constitution and honoring retiring statewide elected officials;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, By the House of Representatives, the Senate
concurring, That the Senate meet the House of Representatives in Joint
Session on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. in the House
Chamber, for the purposes of administering the oath of office to
statewide elected officials and receiving the Inaugural Address of the
Governor, Christine O. Gregoire; and
