     AN ACT Relating to search and rescue volunteers; and adding a new section to chapter 41.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1   A new section is added to chapter 41.04 RCW to read as follows:
     An agency shall grant leave with pay to an employee engaged in volunteer search and rescue activities, as defined in RCW 38.52.010.
