     AN ACT Relating to creating the local bridge restoration and replacement account; and adding a new section to chapter 47.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1   A new section is added to chapter 47.04 RCW to read as follows:
     The local bridge restoration and replacement account is created in the state treasury. Moneys in the account may be spent only after appropriation. Expenditures from the account may be used only for restoring and replacing local bridge projects receiving federal emergency funds that are not sufficient to fully restore or replace the facility.
