Provides the option of receiving a survivor annuity, instead of a withdrawal of a member's accumulated contributions, to a survivor of a member of the public employees' retirement system plan 1 who dies after leaving service but prior to starting retirement benefits.

Requires the deceased inactive member to have completed at least ten years of service.
