| Ladies and Gentlemen: |
| I am returning, without my approval, Senate Bill 5542 entitled: |
"AN ACT Relating to members of the law enforcement officers' and firefighters' retirement system plan 2 who were disabled in the line of duty before January 1, 2001." |
| This bill is identical to House Bill 1678, which I signed into law on April 15, 2009. |
| For this reason I have vetoed Senate Bill 5542 in its entirety. |
