Requires the department of social and health services, within current funding levels, to place on the public web site maintained by the department a document listing the duties and responsibilities the department has to a child subject to a dependency petition.

Requires the social worker assigned to the case, once a dependency is established under chapter 13.34 RCW (juvenile court act) to: (1) Provide the dependent child with a document containing certain information; and

(2) Explain the content of the document to the child and direct the child to the department's web site for further information.

Requires the court to ensure that a dependent child over the age of twelve, who is otherwise present in the courtroom, is aware of and understands the duties and responsibilities the department of social and health services has to a child subject to a dependency.
