Suspends and/or modifies certain statutes relating to notice and reporting requirements of the office of the superintendent of public instruction and school districts.

Authorizes the office of the superintendent of public instruction to publish the common school manual online.

Repeals statutes relating to: (1) Washington state history and government course content;

(2) The family preservation education program;

(3) Alternatives to suspension, community service encouraged;

(4) The Washington award for excellence in education program act;

(5) The Washington award for excellence in teacher preparation act;

(6) Local control and flexibility in assessments pilot project; and

(7) School-to-work transition project, outreach and technical assistance.
