Improves administration of wage complaints by modifying provisions relating to: (1) Investigations by the department of labor and industries;

(2) Wage and interest requirements paid by an employer;

(3) Penalties for noncompliance of a wage payment requirement;

(4) Tolling the applicable statute of limitations for civil actions;

(5) Notice of appeal; and

(6) Liability for successor businesses.
