    On page 85, after line 36, insert the following:

    "(46) Funding provided in this section for medical interpreter services shall not be used to reimburse interpreters or suppliers of interpreter services located outside the state of Washington."

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   The Department of Social and Health Services Medical Assistance program shall not use funding for medical interpreter services to reimburse interpreters or suppliers of interpreter services located outside of Washington.

FISCAL IMPACT: No change to appropriated levels.
