    On page 10, line 26 of the amendment, after "operations" insert ".  Equipment provided under this subsection must be certified for use in North America by a department-identified internationally recognized standards organization"

EFFECT:  Requires the dedicated response equipment used to recover oil under tank vessel contingency plans to be certified for use in North America by an internationally recognized standards organization.
