    On page 3, after line 35, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 36.93 RCW to read as follows: If a board chooses to expand an annexation proposal under RCW 36.93.150, the board must, for the area proposed for expansion, provide for public involvement during review and evaluation of the expansion proposal.  For purposes of this section, "public involvement" means public review and comment opportunities before the board during the normal boundary review process."

    Correct the title.

EFFECT:   Provides for specific forms of public involvement while a Boundary Review Board is considering a proposal to expand an annexation proposal.
