EFFECT:  Increases the mandatory minimum jail term for first-time DUI offenders as follows:

· 3 days (rather than 1 day) when the offender's BAC is lower than .15; and

· 1 week (rather than 2 days) when the offender's BAC is .15 or higher.

Requires the offender to pay for the cost of incarceration.
