    On page 7, line 32, after "use" strike "only" and insert "at least fifty percent of"

    On page 10, line 9, after "ended," strike all material through "election" on line 12 and insert "the party must appoint a precinct committee officer"

EFFECT:  Both major political parties must agree to use at least 50 percent of the results of a presidential primary in allocating their delegates to the national convention in order for a presidential primary to be held.  If no candidates file for the office of precinct committee officer, the party must appoint someone to the position.
