    On page 7, line 32, after "use" strike "only"

    On page 7, line 33, after "of" insert "at least fifty percent"

    On page 10, line 7, after "candidate"   strike "has" and insert "or no candidates have"

    On page 10, beginning on line 8, strike all of subsection (6)

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Both major political parties must agree to use the results of a presidential primary to allocate at least 50 percent of their delegates to the national convention in order for a presidential primary to be held.  Removes the provision to allow for write-in candidates if no one files for precinct committee officer.
