    On page 2, after line 15, insert the following:

    "(iii) Before adopting or adapting material referenced in subsection (1)(b)(ii), the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction must submit the open source material to the legislature for review and approval;" 

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   A new requirement is added, directing the Office of the Superintendent to submit open source material to the legislature for review and approval prior to adoption or adaptation.
