    On page 3, beginning on line 9, after "requiring" strike "hospitalization or resulting in a loss of one or more days of work" and insert "hospital admission"

EFFECT: Provides that for purposes of the right of a victim with a serious injury (or the victim's representative) to make a statement before the parties conducting any settlement negotiations, a "serious injury" is an injury or illness requiring hospital admission rather than an injury or illness requiring hospitalization or resulting on a loss of one or more days of work.
