EFFECT:   Provides that a medication assistant's primary responsibility, while functioning as a medication assistant, is performing the tasks of a medication assistant.  Authorizes the Washington Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission to adopt rules regarding those primary responsibilities, in addition to rules limiting the duties that a certified nursing assistant may perform while functioning as a medication assistant.
