    On page 1, beginning on line 20 of the striking amendment, after "may" strike all material through "employers" on line 22 and insert "result in imminent unsafe equipment or conditions"

    On page 7, beginning on line 32 of the striking amendment, after "may" strike all material through "employer" on line 34 and insert "result in imminent unsafe equipment or conditions"

EFFECT:  Modifies the definition of "whistleblower" to refer to reporting of or opposition to practices that may result in imminent unsafe equipment or conditions rather than practices that may violate the laws and rules regulating elevators or the employer's safety, installation, repair, or maintenance policies.
