    On page 2, after line 16, insert the following:

    "(4) Tracking and recording any funds, grants, or other public resources expended by the agency in the course of developing and maintaining the agency's relationship with a tribe in accordance with the requirements of this act. The tribal liaison must provide the governor and the appropriate committees of the legislature with an annual accounting of such expenditures."

EFFECT: 1) Requires a tribal liaison to track and record any expenditures by the agency related to developing and maintaining its relationship with the tribe in accordance with the requirements of the act; and 2) Requires the tribal liaison to provide to the governor and the legislature an annual accounting of such expenditures.
