    On page 1, beginning on line 9, insert "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 10.19 RCW to read as follows:

After setting a total bail amount, and as a condition of issuing the bond, the court shall require that five percent of the total bail amount be deposited with the bail bond agency."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Requires five percent of a person's total bail amount to be deposited with the bail bond agency.
