On page 6, after line 13, insert the following:
"(11) A person granted a special endorsement to operate a cigar
lounge under this section must deposit twenty percent of the net
receipts of the business into a health insurance fund to provide
comprehensive health care for each employee while employed and for ten
years following employment. The insurance policy for employees must
provide coverage to treat the following conditions: Asthma,
bronchitis, cancer, and any other disease or ailment that is associated
with tobacco smoke. Further, the insurance policy must include
preventive, minor, and major medical care."
EFFECT: Requires businesses operating cigar lounges to place 20% of profits into a health insurance fund for employees and former employees for comprehensive health care, and specifically requires respiratory conditions related to tobacco smoke to be covered.
