Allows a peace officer or a police officer to deliver an individual with a mental disorder to a triage facility.

Requires the secretary of the department of social and health services to certify triage facilities that meet state minimum standards.

Requires the department of social and health services to work with the Washington association of counties and the Washington association of sheriffs and police chiefs in creating rules that establish standards for certification of triage facilities.

Provides that facilities operating as triage facilities are not required to relicense or recertify under any new rules governing licensure or certification of triage facilities.

Prohibits department of health rules from requiring triage facilities to provide twenty-four hour nursing.
