Requires the department of health, in consultation with the department of enterprise services and other interested entities, to develop a recommended food purchasing policy for state agencies.

Requires the department of social and health services and the department of corrections to each develop and implement a food purchasing policy.

Allows the department of health to provide technical support to assist agencies implementing food purchasing policies.

Encourages the procurement of Washington grown food in the policies.
