    On page 6, line 35, after "docks" strike "constructed" and insert "that are constructed to replace existing docks, are of equal or lesser square footage than the existing dock being replaced, and are located"

    On page 6, beginning on line 38, after "dollars for" strike "docks constructed in a county, city, or town that has not updated its master program consistent with the master program guidelines in chapter 173-26 WAC as adopted in 2003" and insert "all other docks constructed in fresh waters"

EFFECT:   Adds new conditions for construction of a dock in fresh waters to fall within the scope of the exception to the term "substantial development" and to have the higher dollar threshold of $20,000 by requiring that such a dock: (1) be constructed to replace an existing dock; and (2) be of equal or lesser square footage than the dock it is replacing.

Provides that the dollar threshold for all other docks constructed in fresh waters (i.e., docks that are (1) not constructed to replace an existing dock; (2) not of equal or lesser square footage than the dock being replaced; or (3) not located in a jurisdiction that has updated its master program) is $10,000.
