    On page 1, line 9, after "tribe" insert "if the land to be transferred or conveyed abuts land owned by the tribe or owned by the federal government and held in trust for the tribe"

EFFECT:   Limits the department of transportation's ability to transfer land to federally recognized Indian tribes to only when the land to be conveyed is adjacent to tribal land.
