    On page 14, beginning on line 1 of the striking amendment, after "marijuana." strike all material through "exemptions." on line 4

    On page 21, beginning on line 12 of the striking amendment, strike all of sections 17, 18, and 19

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Removes the sales and use tax exemption for sales of marijuana and marijuana products to qualifying patients or designated providers who hold valid authorization cards.  Removes the tax preference performance statement for the sales and use tax exemption for sales of marijuana and marijuana products to qualifying patients.  Removes the requirement that the Department of Health retain registry records for at least five years to permit the Liquor and Cannabis Board and the Department of Revenue to verify eligibility for tax exemptions.
