    On page 1, line 20, after "a" strike "variety of resources" and insert "((variety of resources)) broad, flexible array of services, resources, and instruction"

    On page 1, line 21, after "requirements" insert "and state standards"

EFFECT:   The definition of a School Library Information and Technology Program (Program) is changed to mean a broad flexible array of services, resources, and instruction, rather than a variety of resources.  The Program is required to support student mastery of state standards, in addition to essential academic learning requirements.
