On page 5, line 35, after "assessment" strike "and recommendation of health plan options" and insert "of health plan options and eligibility"
On page 6, line 4, after "navigator" insert "or navigator's employer"
EFFECT: Limits the restriction on the receipt of health care information by navigators to only those navigators that are not covered by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Limits the health care information that may be requested by a navigator to information about the assessment, not recommendation, of health plan options and eligibility. Requires employers of navigators, not just navigators, to notify individuals of a breach of their health care information.
