On page 2, after line 24, insert the following:
"(2) By June 30, 2019, the legislature must provide necessary funds
for the department of commerce to develop a permitting process that
allows all local governments to have their environmental permit
requests reviewed within thirty days. This permitting process must be
operational by December 31, 2019."
EFFECT: Adds language directing the legislature, by June 30, 2019, to fund a permitting process within commerce that allows all local governments to have their environmental permit requests reviewed within thirty days. This permitting process must be operational by December 31, 2019.
