Background: Manufactured/mobile home communities are governed by the Manufactured/Mobile Home Landlord-Tenant Act (MHLTA). The MHLTA outlines the rights and responsibilities of manufactured/mobile home landlords and tenants.

Unless otherwise agreed, rental agreements are for a period of one year. Any subsequent rental agreement is automatically renewed for the term of the original agreement.

Summary of Bill: Any subsequent rental agreement offered for renewal by a landlord in a manufactured/mobile home community must specify a minimum term of one year.
