Requires the department of health to: (1) Establish guidance for local health jurisdictions to consider while developing community health alert notification plans; and

(2) Establish a temporary work group of public health officials, representatives of local media establishments, and the public.

Requires each local board of health to adopt a community health alert notification plan and make it available to the public on its web site.
