Requires the sea grant and cooperative extension to establish a shellfish aquaculture public information center in Mason, Thurston, Kitsap, Pierce, or Jefferson county.

Requires certain research to be coordinated with research efforts by the sea grant program related to ocean acidification.

Changes the name of the shellfish aquaculture regulatory committee to the shellfish aquaculture committee.

Requires the committee, after completion of its initial charge of work, to be reconstituted, maintained, and asked to meet as necessary only to advise the sea grant program at the University of Washington regarding the scoping of certain research.
