Establishes the alliance for student success in education and training (ASSET) program to increase connections and access to work-integrated learning opportunities, particularly in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Requires the workforce training and education coordinating board, in consultation with the office of the superintendent of public instruction, to design and implement a performance monitoring system to track the outcomes of the ASSET program.

Requires the office of the superintendent of public instruction to allocate grants to a minimum of two high schools and one skill center to each implement a dropout reengagement program aligned with entry into a high-demand occupation.
