Increases the fee a court of limited jurisdiction can collect upon a defendant's conviction or a plea of guilty.

Increases the limit on the costs for preparing and serving a warrant for failure to appear.

Increases the amount of the monthly assessment that a judge of a court of limited jurisdiction may levy upon a person for services provided when the person is referred by the court to the misdemeanant probation department for evaluation or supervision services.

Requires funds and revenue attributable to the increases in this act to be used to support contracts, programs, and personnel associated with indigent defense.

Requires the administrative office of the courts to conduct an analysis to determine the increased cost and fiscal impact that the state supreme court's new standards and caseload limits for public defenders will have on county and city criminal justice system and court operations.
