    On page 2, line 37, after "(6)" insert "If a department employee responsible for licensing child care centers and homes or early learning programs is found to have failed to fulfill their duties through the review conducted pursuant to this section and a child fatality occurs as a result of that failure that person must be terminated from employment with the department.

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal reference accordingly.

EFFECT:  Requires the Department of Early Learning to terminate a department employee responsible for licensing child care centers and homes or early learning programs if that employee is found to have failed to fulfill their duties and a child fatality occurs as a result of that failure.
