    On page 4, line 5, after "(f)" strike "This" and insert "Except as otherwise provided in subsection (6)(g), this"

    On page 4, after line 24, insert the following:

    "(g) In addition to other applicable conditions in this subsection (6), any statewide elected official or state legislator may not accept employment or receive compensation for services from any state agency within one year after leaving his or her elected office."

EFFECT:  Prohibits a statewide elected official or state legislator from accepting employment or receiving compensation from any state agency within one year after leaving elected office.
