    On page 5, after line 17 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

    "(19) A detention facility may not refuse to book a juvenile who was arrested pursuant to the discretionary assault arrest authority provided in subsection (4) of this section."

Correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Requires that detention facilities book juveniles subject to a discretionary arrest by law enforcement for domestic violence assault.
