On page 1, line 19, after "citizens" strike "((of the county))" and insert "of the county or of an adjacent county"

EFFECT:   Requires the competitive examination to be open to all properly qualified citizens of the county or of an adjacent county, instead of open to all properly qualified citizens, regardless of county residence, as proposed in the underlying bill.
