    On page 1, line 18, after "((, or))" insert "; however, this section does apply to vehicles being used by a sheriff's office and police department for enforcement of traffic infractions, as defined in RCW 46.63.020"

    On page 3, line 6, after "patrol" insert "with the exception of vehicles being used by the Washington state patrol for enforcement of traffic infractions, as defined in RCW 46.63.020"

EFFECT: Provides that vehicle marking requirements always apply to vehicles of sheriff's offices, police departments, and the Washington State Patrol when those vehicles are being used for traffic infraction enforcement. Vehicle marking requirements do not apply to other vehicles owned by those agencies.
